How is SPG Virtual Care different than other face-time like apps?

Traditional telemedicine is accomplished by video conferencing apps that allow the patient to see and talk to a remote provide and are limited to conditions that can be treated without an actual exam. We go further – a lot further. At your scheduled appointment time, our team will come to your home with cutting edge technology to do a complete physical exam including vitals, listening to your heart and lungs, even administer an EKG. You will be connected to a remote provider, but our team in the home will be with you every step of the way. 

Do you take insurance? 

SPG Virtual Care accepts a wide variety of insurances including Medicare. If we do not accept your insurance we have a cash pay program availableto ensure you get the care you need. 

I’m not great with technology, what do I need to download or do? 

For your SPG Virtual Care in-home appointment, you don’t need to do a thing or even have wifi. Our team will handle all the technology so you can focus on getting better. For our traditional telemedicine program, you can download our app here or if you are uncomfortable with apps, we can do your telemedicine visit without one. The choice is totally up to you. 

What conditions do you treat?

How soon can I get an appointment? 

We make every effort to schedule your appointment as soon as possible, usually the next day. For more urgent requests and for Mobile Acute Care, we will come see you within a few hours. Our goal is to get you the care you need, when you need it, all in the comfort of your own home.

What is remote patient monitoring? 

For our patients will ongoing chronic conditions, we can supply a variety of easy-to-use devices to measure blood pressure, weight, oxygen saturation and more. We then monitor these vital signs remotely in between appointments to ensure that if there is a concern, we can catch it quickly and avoid your condition worsening. Typically, insurance covers these devices as well as the monitoring, although self-pay options are available

Can I make an appointment for my child? 

Absolutely! We treat children as well as adults including those with special needs. 

Do you provide hospice care?

We do. Sometimes the best care is care focused on managing pain and
symptoms. Through SPG Hospice we can provide end of life care in a
